Lectures, tutorials and fact bites on the Helsinki Channel
The Helsinki Channel offers webcasting and publishes recordings sorted according to subject. The e-services introductory series (in Finnish) includes several videos about Helsinki's digital support. ENTER, which is Helsinki's partner in its endeavours to strengthen digital skills, organises lectures about information technology as well. Many of them have been recorded and can be accessed through the Helsinki Channel.
On Helsinki Channel, you are also able to watch the meetings of Helsinki's City Council and the Mayor's resident evenings.
Training sessions for digital support assistants
Since spring 2017, the training sessions for digital support assistants who work for the city or its partners have been broadcast live and also recorded for later use.
Digital support in Finland 2018
The first network meeting for organisers of digital support took place on 3 October 2018 in the City Council Chamber at Helsinki's City Hall. There, representatives of the largest cities, banks and the third (community) sector talked about the digital support that they offer. The Population Register Centre and the Ministry of Finance presented the national model for digital support and what is being done to carry it out. In addition, they introduced the focal points of the pilot projects for regional digital support.
